Statement Of Faith

WE BELIEVE that there is only one Living and true God, who is infinitely perfect, existing eternally in one essence and co-equally in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(Scripture references: Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 5:48; Matthew 28:19)

WE BELIEVE in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His Virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal, visible, premillennial return in power and glory.
(Scripture references: Philippians 2:6-11; Luke 1:36-38; 1Peter 3:18; Hebrews 2:9; Acts 2:23–24; Hebrews 8:1; Matthew 26:64; Hebrews 10:37; Luke 21:27)

WE BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit is a divine Person, sent to dwell, guide, teach, seal, sanctify, empower the believer, and convince the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment.
(Scripture references: John 14:15–18; John 16:7-11, 13; Acts 1:9)

WE BELIEVE that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, inerrant as originally given, were verbally inspired in every word by God as His written revelation to men. They constitute the divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice. We affirm the infallibility, sufficiency and authority of Scripture.
(Scripture references: 2 Peter 1:20–21; 2 Timothy 3:15–16)

WE BELIEVE that mankind was originally created in the image and likeness of God, sinned and thereby incurred both physical and spiritual death. All men are born with a sinful nature, are separated from the life of God, and can be saved only through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ. We affirm the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting conscious suffering of the unrepentant and unbelieving in hell and the eternal fellowship of the redeemed in heaven.
(Scripture references: Genesis 1:27; John 5:28–29; Romans 3:23; 1 Corinthians15:20–23; Revelation 21:1-4, 8)

WE BELIEVE that the devil is personal being who is working in the world to destroy the souls of men and that he and all his angels and all who do not receive Christ as their personal Savior will eternally perish in the lake of fire.
(Scripture references: Revelation 20:2-3, 11-15)

WE BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the basis of His shed blood. All those who repent and believe in Him are born again of the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of eternal life, become the children of God and are kept eternally secure in Christ by God’s power.
(Scripture references: John 10:27-29; Romans 5:9; 1Corinthians 15:3-4; Titus 3:4–7)

WE BELIEVE that it is the will of God that each believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit and be sanctified wholly, being separated from sin and the world and fully dedicated to the will of God, thereby receiving power for holy living and effective service. This is both an immediate and a progressive experience wrought in the life of the believer subsequent to conversion.
(Scripture references: 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Acts 1:8; Romans 6:1–14)

WE BELIEVE that the Church consists of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, are redeemed through His blood, born again of the Holy Spirit and baptized into the Body of Christ, the Church, at the moment of salvation with Christ as the Head of the Church. The local church is a body of believers in Christ who are joined together for the worship of God, for edification through the Word of God, for prayer, fellowship, the proclamation of the gospel, and observance of the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
(Scripture references: Ephesians 1:22–23; Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 2:41–47; 1Corinthians 11:23-26)

WE BELIEVE that the mission of the Church is to preach Scriptures to all the world to turn unbelievers into committed followers of Christ dedicated to holy living and faithful service according to the will and gifting of the Holy Spirit; with all of the endeavors of the Church being guided by multiple leadership and supported by wise stewardship of God’s people.
Scripture references: Matthew 28:19-20; Ephesians 4:11-16)

Verse Of The Day

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.
